ImageToPDF processes all your photos and documents entirely on your iOS device. We do not transmit, collect, or store your documents on external servers.

We respect your document privacy. ImageToPDF operates under a strict privacy-first architecture:

  • No Document Uploads: Scanned documents and generated PDFs remain stored locally in your device's app container.
  • No Personal Tracking: We do not track your identity, document content, file names, or document text.
  • No Third-Party Analytics Advertising: We do not sell or share any user data with advertisers or data brokers.

2. Camera & Photo Library Access

ImageToPDF requests iOS system permissions solely to deliver core document scanning features:

  • Camera Access: Used strictly for VisionKit document scanning to detect document edges and capture page photos.
  • Photo Library Access: Used strictly when you select photos to compile into a PDF.

You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings > ImageToPDF.

3. In-App Purchases & Apple StoreKit

In-app purchase transactions (such as ImageToPDF Premium Lifetime access) are processed securely through Apple's App Store payment infrastructure. We do not store or process your financial data or credit card details.

4. Local Data Storage & Encryption

PDF documents, optional password protections, and custom watermarks generated by ImageToPDF are stored locally inside the iOS app bundle using standard Apple sandboxing and Data Protection encryption.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using ImageToPDF – Document Scanner, these terms automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the application.

2. License & Intellectual Property

ImageToPDF grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on your iOS devices under the standard Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. In-App Purchases & Entitlements

ImageToPDF Premium may be offered as a one-time purchase or subscription. Payments will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. All transactions are handled directly through Apple StoreKit.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of your documents. ImageToPDF is not liable for data loss occurring due to device hardware failure, OS updates, or user deletion.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of document processing features.

Frequently Asked Questions

All document scanning, perspective cropping, and PDF creation happen 100% locally on your iPhone or iPad. Your images and documents are never uploaded to any cloud server.

Open ImageToPDF > go to Settings > tap "Restore Purchases". Ensure you are logged into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Yes! Under the PDF Settings screen prior to creating your document, enable "Password Protection" to secure your file with AES encryption.

In the Create PDF screen, simply tap and hold any photo thumbnail to drag and drop it into your desired page order.
